A winning team! Bevonne with daughter, Lark.

BEVONNE BIRCH: I have been working with the sacred traditional healing copals* since 1967 when a friend gave me a book about the benefits of these sacred plants. I was excited to know God had given us healing plants, and I wanted to know everything I could about them. I couldn't put the book down. It was like I had finally come upon the path my spirit wanted to follow. When I told my mother how this new knowledge made me feel, she told me about my great-grandmother's interest in the traditional way of healing with plants. I felt so connected with my grandmother and longed for her knowledge. I began reading every available book on the healing properties of plants and taking notes. I attended workshops, watched videos, listened to cassette tapes, and started using the sacred copals. Then in 1992 I was introduced to the liquid copals. This was exciting for me as I saw the traditional healing taken to another level.

The first liquid copal blend I bought contained the sacred copals of clove, lemon, cinnamon, rosemary and a few others. I applied this liquid copal blend to my wrists and the bottom of my feet at least twice a day. It was wintertime and all my co-workers were sick except me. I knew the liquid copals were working, and I was blessed.

The next liquid copal blend I bought was formulated to attract abundance. The results were immediate. When I walked into work, my boss called me into his office and gave me a week's paid vacation; although, I had not yet earned it. Additionally he gave me a $.50 per hour raise. Since I was working in the accounting department, I decided to put this liquid copal blend on the statements of those accounts we had been unable to collect. I was able to collect over $50,000 from those delinquent accounts and earned a hefty commission in the process.

In 1993 my husband, Rex, and I were able to volunteer and spend three months on an herb farm in Idaho . We helped with the planting and weeding of the sacred copals of lavender, clary sage, thyme and peppermint. We loved seeing the plants in bloom and smell the fragrance as we worked in the fields. We learned that it is not easy to grow organic crops.

During the next few years, I met people who were just getting started using the liquid copals and they requested a copy of my notes. Thanks to my daughter, Lark, and my sister, Vallejo, we printed the first edition of “Bevonne's Notebook” in 1996. In 2006 I added additional workbooks, DVDs and CDs to assist in learning and applying the sacred traditional liquid copals.

Every day I find ways the liquid copals bless my life. Sometimes it is little things like taking care of mosquito bites and other times it has been quite major, like saving my husband's life from carbon monoxide poisoning. To learn more about the liquid copals I use and the benifits they provide goto nativeamericannutritionsl.com. I hope our information will help you learn about the sacred liquid copals, their traditional uses, and that you will learn to love them as much as I do.

*New C.A.F.T.A. regulations allow only medical practitioners or Native Americans to teach the use liquid copals (essential oils). Liquid copal in the Native American language means the living essence of healing plants.

LARK DEAN GALLEY: In 1996 I was going through an extremely rough time. My husband of 7 years had just left me six months pregnant with our first child. I was experiencing extreme depression and feelings of abandonment. During my eighth month of pregnancy, my mother came to visit me in San Francisco. She recommended I use various copals to assist me with my depression, water retention, and to prepare my body for the birth. This was the first time I had heard about using the oils from plants. Even though I had grown up with herbs and natural remedies, I still found the concept of liquid copals very strange. It wasn't until I started using them that I experienced first hand their healing properties. Frankincense did wonders to elevate my spirit and bring me out of my severe depression. Another copal that assisted with my edema was Tangerine. This allowed me to reduce the water retention and curtail the swelling.

Over the years I have continued to incorporate the liquid copals into my life. I have experienced the benefits of Lavender on burns, Peppermint for headaches, and Prosperity for doubling my income. I have come to understand the copals emit a frequency that can affect and elevate my own electrical pulses as well as attract into my life those things I desire.

Because of the wonderful experiences we have had, my mother and I want to share our knowledge about the copals in the hopes they will benefit your life as well.
